Buying Guide
The M6 is the most popular metered Leica M film camera. TTL (1984-1998) and M6 Classic (1998-2002) differ in meter display location. Leica now makes a new M6 (2022+) at £4500. For used: verify rangefinder accuracy with a lens, check shutter speeds, ensure meter LEDs are bright. The 0.72x finder suits 35mm-90mm lenses best. Budget for a CLA (service) if buying old stock.
