Buying guide
Consumer product for casual archiving, not quality scanning. A 20 MP camera sensor photographs each frame and saves JPEGs to SD card. Standalone convenience is the appeal. Fine for family sharing. Do not expect enlargement quality. It does not take 120 film, and it captures single frames from 8mm and Super 8 rather than digitising them as video.
