Buying guide
The RTS (1974-75) was the first Contax from the Yashica partnership, styled by the F. A. Porsche Group, with an electronically controlled shutter and access to Carl Zeiss T* lenses. Electronic shutter with no mechanical backup - test thoroughly and check battery contacts. The RTS II (1982) and RTS III (1990) replaced it. The Zeiss lenses are the main attraction.
