Buying Guide

The Mamiya 7 (1995) and 7 II (1999) differ in the addition of a viewfinder with built-in diopter and improved ergonomics on the II. Both are exceptional. Verify rangefinder accuracy - the patch should align precisely. Test with a lens as body/lens pairing can affect calibration. The 80mm f/4 is the standard, but the 43mm is legendary for landscapes. Expect to pay premium prices.
