The 500C/M (1970) differs from the 500C in having a user-changeable focusing screen and the automatic A-series film magazines. Buy from reputable dealers who have tested the back/body/lens combination. Check that the lens shutter fires at all speeds, the film back seats without light leaks and the mirror doesn't stick. Keep the camera wound when changing lenses: the shutter and body can fall out of step, and re-fitting a lens can cause damage. Factor in CLA costs. The 80mm lens is the usual standard lens.
