Buying guide
The Nikon F (1959) established the F mount still used today. The standard prism has no meter; Photomic heads (1962 onwards; T 1965, Tn 1967, FTn 1968) add one. The back is not hinged and has to be set aside when changing film. Check the shutter curtain for pinholes and test all speeds. The Photomic head meters need checking.
