Buying guide
The F2 (1971) succeeded the F with a shutter extended to 1/2000 and a 3V silver-oxide battery for the Photomic finders. The shutter works without a battery; only the meter needs power. The F2AS has the most advanced metering and the F2 Titan has titanium covers. Test all mechanical speeds and the self-timer.
