Buying Guide

The original OM-1 needs a battery adapter (MR-9 or similar) or Wein cell to meter correctly with modern batteries. The OM-1n (1979+) and OM-1 MD have improved electronics. Check the prism carefully for dark spots - expensive to fix. Test the meter against a phone app. The OM-1's small size was revolutionary and the Zuiko lenses are excellent.
