EI is the speed the film was rated at when shooting. Evidence says where each time comes from: the manufacturer’s own data, a named test, a compilation or several agreeing reports (community consensus), or one person’s report. Times marked “not yet verified” come from secondary sources and haven’t been checked against a manufacturer datasheet. Where sources give different times, every one is listed and marked “sources differ”.

Other temperatures

Colour developers run at 38°C (100°F) with a tight tolerance of around ±0.3°C, so there’s no reliable temperature chart. If you can’t hold the temperature, follow your kit’s instructions for its lower-temperature times.

How they work together

Fujifilm Fujifilm 400
Fujifilm-branded ISO 400 'all conditions' consumer film, 35mm only, made for Fujifilm by Eastman Kodak and introduced in North America in spring 2023 as the Superia X-TRA 400 replacement.
Notes on this pairing
  • Kit time; applies to any C-41 film. Colour developer step at 38 °C; tank agitated for the first 30 s, then one gentle tilt every 15 s (or continuous rotation). First 4 films per litre; then 3:30, 3:45, 4:00.
