How they work together

Rodinal: Prominent grain, high acutance, full film speed, variable contrast. Sharp, dramatic, distinct edge effects.
Harman Technology Kentmere Pan 400: Harman's budget line. Clean, flat negative that scans well. Finer grain than Fomapan but less character.
Notes on this pairing: Higher contrast, pronounced grain.
Long development time creates pronounced grain.
Stand development: Agitate first minute, then leave undisturbed for 1 hour.
