How they work together

Rodinal: Prominent grain, high acutance, full film speed, variable contrast. Sharp, dramatic, distinct edge effects.
Ilford HP5 Plus: A robust, all-purpose film. Slightly lower contrast than Tri-X with excellent shadow detail and pushability.
Notes on this pairing: Higher contrast. Per Agfa/Adox datasheets.
Balanced results. Per Ilford suggestion.
Stand development: Agitate first minute, then leave undisturbed for 1 hour.
