Buying guide
Often cheaper than the 5000 ED. 35mm only (APS with the IA-20 adapter). Check the SA-21 strip and MA-20 slide adapters are included; batch scanning needs the optional SA-30 or SF-200. Needs FireWire (the 5000 ED uses USB 2.0). Test for sensor artefacts and banding before purchase.
